Export the City

Check out the information on the City of Campo Grande below, as well as the event venue.

Information on the City
Located in Center-West Brazil, close to Goiás, Mato Grosso and the Federal District, it shares boundaries with other five Brazilian States: Minas Gerais, São Paulo, Paraná, Goiás,  Mato Grosso, with its Southern borders facing Paraguay and  Bolivia across the Parana and Paraguay rivers and their tributaries, with its prevailing vegetation characteristic of the Cerrado savannas.
With a history of cattle ranching, the cuisine typical of this State is the outcome of cultural and natural elements that have shaped its traditions and customs: a wide variety of fish featured in rich and exotic dishes, as well as iced tereré herb tea; homemade sweets using local fruit  and -  reflecting cross-border influences -  chipa rolls, salteña pasties, Paraguayan cornbread and locro casseroles.  Outstanding among its cultural expressions are handcrafts, with indigenous wares prevailing, with enchanting original rustic items.
Campo Grande is endowed with a large number of parks and squares that are home to wildlife typical of the Pantanal wetlands and the cerrado savannas, including toucans, macaws, capybaras and coatis, as well as many public areas that appeal to visitors with unforgettable attractions.

Due to the deep reddish-purple color of its earth, it has been nicknamed the Dusky or Brunette   City (Cidade Morena).   A modern hub that is right in step with the today’s world, Campo Grande is noted for its cultural diversity.
